Following the Samsung Gear S2's successful launch in the U.S., the luxurious design of the smartwatch finally arrives in India.

The first is a white variant of the standard Gear S2 that is priced at Rs 24,300, or about $365. Specifications are the same as its black counterparts.

The next two add more sophistication and elegance to the group, designed with an all-time classic flair. The first model is finished off with 18K Rose Gold plating and the second model is finished with sleek Platinum. These two variants are priced at Rs 34,900, or about $524. Both classic designs have the same hardware specifications as their standard counterparts, but their straps can be exchanged with any other 20-millimeter watch strap unlike the standard editions of the Samsung Gear S2. The standard editions have a separate strap add-on utility that can be bought individually.

The director of Mobile Business from Samsung India Electronics, Manu Sharma, commented that "Gear S2 is a sleek and smart wearable that enable users to augment and personalize their mobile experience and lifestyle. The introduction of these new variants with additional apps and watch faces will further add to the style and convenience quotient. Samsung Gear S2 is a true testimony to our commitment to provide breakthrough technology to make lives of our consumers richer."

The updates also include new dial faces users can choose from to personalize their Samsung Gear S2s to fit their lifestyle. From animated screens like "Peanuts" to a more convenient and practical one that lets the user create a template. These template dial faces can contain information such as the time, weather, reminders and notifications, among others, all in one display.

New games have been provided for the Samsung Gear S2 as well that works with the round bezel of the smartwatch. These are the classic Snake, a driving simulation game called Vroom Rider, a game that may or may not be like Tetris called Hextris and a Hangman-themed game for those who like their brains teased.
