The unlocked Moto X Pure Edition is now up for only $350 on Amazon. That's $50 less the standard price or the same cost as the 16 GB model.

The Smartphone

Of course, those who are keeping tabs on the smartphone already know what it has to offer, so they can go right ahead and skip to the bottom for the Amazon link, but for those who aren't, here's a little refresher.

Powering the handset is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 chipset with a dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 plus a quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53 setup and Adreno 418 to process graphics. On the memory side of things, it comes with 3 GB worth of RAM.

As mentioned earlier, it's available in variants with different storage options, including a 16 GB model, a 32 GB model, which is what Amazon is offering right now, and a 64 GB model. To make sure that space is never an issue, it has a dedicated slot for microSD that supports up to 128 GB.

It sports a 5.7-inch LCD display with a 1,440 x 2,560 resolution, pushing out a crisp 520 ppi. To keep it free of scratches and whatnot, it's topped off with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. For the mobile photographer, it packs in a 21 MP f/2.0 rear shooter with a dual-LED flash and a 5 MP f/.20 snapper on the front.

Out of the box, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but it's upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Also, it's crammed with a 3,000 mAh battery pack to let it stay alive throughout the day.

As a cherry on top, it boasts an IP52 certification, allowing the smartphone to be capable of surviving a spill.

The Amazon Bargain

Needless to say, the bargain is simple: $50 off the 32 GB Moto X Pure Edition. That works out to the same price of the 16 GB model, so customers are basically doubling the size.

However, aside from the fixed storage option, there's a catch to the deal. Buyers will have to miss out on customizing it via the Moto Maker, as Amazon is only offering the black version.

Nevertheless, the phone is unlocked, and that means it'll work with AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.

One last thing – it's a limited-time offer, so anyone who wants to get their hands on it better hurry.
