The Division has received its first major update, which brings a number of changes to the game.

The Division is a third-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Massive and published by Ubisoft. The game was globally released for Microsoft Windows, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One on March 8 this year.

The Division Update 1.1 brings a number of exciting changes to the game, including Dark Zone Supply Drops, a global event where airdrops of multiple supply caches for Division agents are dropped into the Dark Zone. Ubisoft confirmed that players can expect supply drops multiple times during the day.

"The supply drops will contain non-contaminated gear of all types that will be ready to use without the need for extraction," says Ubisoft. "These supply drops will be heavily sought after by other agents and enemy factions that roam the Dark Zone, so be ready for resistance."

Players who want the Dark Zone Supply Drops will have to be on top of their game. The supply drops will be heavily guarded by AI and other agents who want to claim the loot for themselves, which means gamers will have to stay vigilant while trying to get the supplies.

After killing the enemy AI, make sure to check if other players are in sight. You can use the Pulse skill to scan the area to ensure that nobody is hiding.

As many players would be going for the supply drops, you should have the best possible high-end gear to manage conflicts with other gamers. Getting the best gear can be difficult and you would have to collect the in-game currency called Phoenix Credits to purchase accessories, weapons and mods with.

Completing daily activities and playing at higher difficulty levels may help in acquiring Phoenix Credits.

The best gear can be found at the Special Gear Vendor in the Tech Wing of the Base of Operations, or the Dark Zone Special Vendor found in the safe room in the northern part of the DZ06 area. It is worth noting that these vendors sell items only to players at level 30 or higher.

Apart from the changes including the Dark Zone Supply Drops, The Division Update 1.1 fixes a number of bugs that have annoyed gamers.
