Since its announcement at E3 this past June, details on the Playstation 4, PC and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V have been sparse. Following the game's initial showing, Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped on what exactly will be included with the next-gen versions of the game. That changed today when Rockstar revealed not only a new trailer, but the game's official release date.

Titled "A Picket Fence and a Dog Named Skip," the new trailer shows off the Playstation 4 version of Rockstar's open-world adventure. It's not a long trailer by any means, but the graphical improvements are immediately noticeable: the original version of Grand Theft Auto V looked great, but it simply can't compete with this. The environments and lighting are more detailed than ever before, and the addition of new wildlife and weather conditions are icing on the cake. Though they weren't shown in the trailer itself, Rockstar also promised denser traffic, more realistic foliage, and enhanced damage effects as well.

In addition to the trailer, Rockstar also went into more detail on what new content players can expect from the next-gen versions of the game. Aside from the numerous graphical upgrades, players will get $1,000,000 in-game (which is split 50-50 between single-player and Grand Theft Auto Online), as well as access to new vehicles and weapons. Players transferring from the original version of GTA V will also receive access to an exclusive series of vehicles, including new planes and a blimp.

The single-player game isn't the only mode that's getting an upgrade: next-gen versions also boast an increased player count for Grand Theft Auto Online. The original game was only able to handle 16 players at once, while the new versions support up to 30 players simultaneously. Whether or not this change will affect the oft-delayed Heists (which are said to be set at 16 players) is unknown, but it's easy to imagine the chaos 30 people could create in a single session of GTA Online.

Most importantly, Rockstar finally revealed when players will get their hands on the game: Grand Theft Auto V will be available for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on Nov. 17. PC players will have to wait a little while longer, as that version of the game won't be available until Jan. 27, 2015.

Considering how long players had to wait for Grand Theft Auto V after it was first unveiled, a few more weeks doesn't seem all that bad.
