Fans of the movie Frozen will soon be given more chances to enjoy the magic of Arendelle, the fictional Scandinavian kingdom ruled by sisters Elsa and Anna.  The Maelstrom ride at the Norway Pavilion in Disneyworld's Epcot's World Showcase will be temporarily shut down in late November in order to give it a completely new look and take visitors into the world of Frozen.

In place of the original boat attraction's Vikings and quick trek through Norwegian history, the new and as-yet unnamed ride will feature highlights of the animated film's most beloved moments and, of couse, musical numbers such as "For the First Time in Forever," "Love is An Open Door," and "Let it Go."

In a post on the Disney Parks official blog, chairman Tom Staggs wrote that it is all in keeping with Walt Disney's original vision for the theme parks to constantly keep changing according to people's dreams and imagination.

"Disney Animation's blockbuster hit "Frozen" - captured the hearts and minds of people around the world and gave us a new opportunity to make good on Walt's pledge," he posted on Sept. 12.

The Maelstrom ride will see its final day on Oct. 5.  No details yet on when the new ride will officially open to take its place but fans can already get their Frozen fix with the extension of the Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! show at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Would you like to build a snowman?  No problem!  Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna will be setting up shop near the show where their playing area will feature real snow in the middle of Florida.

Queen Elsa and Princess Anna will also be playing bigger roles at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando where they already appear in daily parades along with Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven the reindeer.  Every night beginning in November, Elsa will use her icy powers to transform Cinderella's castle into a snowy palace in time for the holiday season.
