Players are still blasting away at one another in Star Wars Battlefront six months later thanks to the addition of the game's first expansion, which added new weapons, abilities, maps and heroes into the mix. DICE has been watching closely over the past month since the expansion went live, and now it is tweaking many of the newly added features that made their way into the game.

First up are the game's two new heroes: Greedo and Nien Nunb. Both are powerful in the right hands, and it looks like DICE believes them to be a little too powerful. Greedo's confidence damage multiplier made him a force to be reckoned with, so DICE is lowering the numbers to bring him more in line with other heroes.

Nien Nunb is seeing far more changes. His proximity mine cooldown is being increased, his rapid pulse canon damage multiplier against AT-ATs is being decreased, his turret will deal less damage and also take longer to lock onto targets. Luke is also seeing a buff, gaining additional health and block time.

The game's Outer Rim expansion also added new weapons for players to add to their arsenal. DICE is making some changes there too. The Dioxis grenade is seeing some improvements across the board, now dealing more damage to enemies caught in the mist while also rewarding the player who tossed the grenade.

For those playing the game's new content, changes are coming to the Outer Rim playlist. DICE says there was a high frequency of players leaving during matches of Heroes vs. Villains, while the Extraction game type has the lowest leave rate. DICE is reducing the frequency of Heroes vs. Villains in the playlist while increasing the frequency of Extraction. Heroes vs. Villains will also be shorter in general when played on the Outer Rim playlist, with games going to best of three instead of best of five rounds.

Those are the major changes, but there are plenty more tweaks and fixes detailed over on the official Star Wars Battlefront site. The game will be celebrating Star Wars day on May 4 by rewarding players with free credits.
