A new render of the OnePlus 3 is making rounds online, and it looks like it took cues from the HTC 10.

This new update about the upcoming "flagship killer" comes from none other than the reliable leakster Evan Blass, who is otherwise known as @evleaks over at Twitter.

As everyone can see, it sports a metallic design that is very reminiscent of the HTC 10, and this official promo render is in line with the previous leaks that have been cropping up before it, particularly how the smartphone maker has ditched the Sandstone back.

Just to be clear, no one's saying that OnePlus stole ideas from HTC or anything like that, and with that said, it's only natural to nitpick such things in the smartphone biz.

Going over the rumored specs really quick, the OnePlus 3 is expected to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and an Adreno 530 GPU.

Memory-wise, leaked benchmarks indicate that the handset in question will feature NFC connectivity and that there will be two variants: one having 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage under the hood and the other boasting 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage.

On an interesting note, it's said to come with a 3,500 mAh battery pack, but according to Blass, it'll have 3,000 mAh instead. He also affirms that it will be fitted with an AMOLED display, which is rumored to measure at 5.5 inches.

Out of the box, it'll probably run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with an OxygenOS on top.

As for availability, it's believed to launch on May 18 with $310 and $385 price tags for the 32 GB and 64 GB models respectively.

Hat tip to @evleaks for the highly anticipated promo render!
