Your prayers have been answered, Amazon Prime members who are overseas. Amazon announced on Wednesday that Prime Video has landed the exclusive right to stream AMC's new highly-anticipated series Preacher in the UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.

Produced by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg (Superbad, This Is The End) and show runner Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad), Preacher is the dark supernatural comedy based on the comic book of the same name created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillion.

The series follows lead character Jesse Custer, played by English actor Dominic Cooper (Warcraft), who is an outlaw that becomes a preacher-in-training after receiving unusual powers. Along his journey to find God, Custer will meet holy and devilish characters along the way while teaming up with his ex-girlfriend Tulip, played by Ruth Negga (Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and friend Cassidy, played by Joseph Gilgun (This Is England).

"Preacher is one of the most ambitious and highly-anticipated new series of the year, and exactly the kind of show we want to bring our Prime members around the world," Brad Beale, VP of Worldwide Television Acquisition for Amazon said in a press release.

These lucky Prime members will not have to wait long to be able to start streaming the series. As part of the exclusive deal signed with Sony Pictures, Prime members in the UK, Germany, Austria and Japan will be able to watch the pilot episode of Preacher on Prime Video for no additional cost on May 23, which is the day after it premieres in the U.S. on AMC.

While new episodes will debut in the U.S. on Sundays, Prime members will continue to be able to catch them the day after they air all season long. Starting on June 6, new episodes will be released on Mondays.

Preacher will join other exclusive series like the Amazon originals The Man in the High Castle and Transparent, along with another popular AMC series, Fear the Walking Dead.

Those in the U.S. can check out Preacher on Sunday, May 22 at 10 p.m. EDT on AMC.
