Motorola is expected to launch new devices on June 9 and it is highly likely to be the Moto Z series, which may include the Moto Z Vector Thin and the Moto Z Vertex. It is unclear which device appears in the latest leaked images.

If the leaked renders are to be believed then one, or even both, Moto Z phones will have at least five changeable back covers. One of the covers seems to be made of brown leather, one has a cork-type material and another with wood finish. Customers may also have the option to purchase a black or a red-colored back cover for the Moto Z.

All the covers have a circular cutout at the top-center, most probably for a camera module.

Rumors suggest that Motorola will also launch some companion devices for the Moto Z and the handset will have a modular design. The leaked renders of the Moto Z covers have a small circular hole at the bottom right corner, which has led to speculations that the upcoming Motorola phone will affix expansion parts via this hole.

Previous rumors suggest that both the smartphones in the Moto Z series will sport a 5.5-inch display. The Moto Z Vector Thin may come running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip and 3 GB of RAM are expected to power the Moto Z Vertex.

A slew of smartphones have made their way to the market this year and Motorola will have to pull out something special to entice smartphone fans. June 9 is just around the corner and we have to wait and see what Motorola has to offer.
