Motorola is offering the Moto X Pure Edition for $299.99 instead of the regular $399.99 as part of its Father's Day promotion.

The limited period offer ensures you save $100 on the 16 GB unlocked variant of the Moto X Pure Edition. This model will work with Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint.

Alternately, if you fancy more storage space, you could opt for the 32 GB model, which will set you back by $349.99 instead of $449.99. The 64 GB variant of the Moto X Pure Edition is also on sale and now costs $399.99 instead of $499.99.

The Android-powered phablet makes a great present. So if you're planning to surprise your dad with a nifty gift this Father's Day, which is on Sunday, June 19, then the Moto X Pure Edition is a great option.

To refresh your memory, the Moto X Pure Edition touts a massive 5.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This translates to a pixel density of 520ppi. Under the hood, the Motorola phablet packs in a powerful hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and 3 GB of RAM. The handset also boasts Adreno 417 GPU and a powerful 3,000 mAh battery. It has TurboPower charging, which gives 10 hours of charge in just 15 minutes.
