Bandai Namco recently unveiled two new warriors coming to the lineup of Tekken 7, and fans of the series have a lot to be excited about.

The addition of novel characters shows how determined the gaming company is to offer its players a varied and engaging experience once the game rolls out at the beginning of 2017. One way to increase replayability for fighting games is to have a myriad of heroes to choose from, and Tekken 7 is still building on that.

During EVO 2016, gamers found out about the two new fighters, Bob and Master Raven, which will land in Tekken's latest version, Fated Retribution.

Keep in mind that the two names appeared before in the Tekken King of the Iron Fist tournament, but players got excited about their appearance in Tekken 7 nevertheless.

Players familiar with Bob are still a bit puzzled, as Bandai Namco did not specify which version of the fighter we'll be seeing. Some rumors hint at the possibility of having a so-called Slim Bob, but the alteration will only happen in the visual sense. His techniques and moves will remain identical to the standard one. Slim Bob already showed his face in the Tekken Tag Tournament 2, so it is not implausible to see him again in Tekken 7.

The other warrior coming to Tekken 7 is Master Raven, which can be labeled as being a mélange of new and old characters. Fans of the games in the series first met Raven in Tekken 5, and the character remained a faithful presence in all other Tekken installments so far.

However, little details about the biography of the character are known, apart from the fact that it belongs to an enigmatic organization. It is also anyone's guess how Master Raven's inclusion in Tekken 7 will bring a new dimension to the warrior.

Bandai Namco first rolled out Tekken in Japan in 2015. Keep in mind that the gaming company still did not release Tekken in overseas markets for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game's producer, Katsuhiro Harada, touted that the PlayStation 4 variant of the game will run at 1080p/60fps. However, rumors hint at the possibility of the game landing on consoles from other markets in 2017.

A lot of gamers look forward to the launch of Tekken 7, as the game might bring radical improvements. Since it is the ninth title in the series, Tekken 7 should holster major enhancements in gameplay experience and settings.
