The LG V20 surprised everyone as the first commercially available handset to run Android 7.0 Nougat, and LG just unveiled a video highlighting the best features of its Nougat-based UX 5.0+.

The OEM built its UX 5.0+ on top of Android 7.0 Nougat, and instead of coming with a radical visual revamp, the newest version of LG's custom UI chooses a middle ground route. This means that both the kitchen sink crowd and the casual users will be comfortable operating the smartphone and taking advantage of its neat capabilities.

LG is no stranger to multimedia functions specially crafted for its customers, and it showed this since the UX 5.0. Now, the upgraded UX 5.0+ takes these enhanced experiences further into user-friendly territory.

Developers from Android and from the independent coder community came up with heads up notifications on multiple variants of UIs and Android OS, but LG is pushing further with the LG V20, as it allows users to see notifications on the secondary screen.

As you have your notifications on the second screen, you can interact with them just as you would on the main one. Keep in mind that you will be able to reply to Hangouts and SMS instantly, without breaking contact with the content you're enjoying on the main screen. Thanks to the multi-window feature, users can display two apps at once on a split screen and are able to drag images, text or other types of files from one app to another.

Users will be able to tap into a number of quick tools that appear on the second screen, even while the main screen is turned off. A nifty feature dubbed In Apps makes the second screen easy to use for searches, while important content is displayed on the main screen.

The combination of these advancements, paired with the 5.7-inch IPS Quantum Display provides the best in multitasking capabilities.

Musicians and wannabe filmmakers get a slew of professional tools. For example, musicians have multiple recording tools that allow them to tweak the audio in the recording by using an equalizer, and even sample vocals separately.

Video shooters can tap and drag a lever that permits to zoom in and out smoothly, which allows for quick focus shifting in a video.

An array of Hi-Fi audio tools can be used to improve the audio in video recordings, setting the V20 as the go-to option for both music aficionados and aspiring musicians.

Users also get to toy around with themes, and those who are accustomed to Samsung's TouchWiz should find great familiarity with them. To cut back on eye strain, users can adjust the tone of the display.

Owners of the V20 can now resize the multi-window feature, and Nougat's scaling option for display size is embedded in the UX 5.0+ from LG.

Fitness buffs should know that LG Health has a few new aces up its sleeve with health monitoring features and reminders for drinking water.
