Even after almost a year of its release, many still hail the Dell XPS 13-9350 as the king of ultraportables. Its design, thickness, weight, keyboard and InfinityEdge display are almost impeccable. Some comment that there's nothing to change except the innards. Well, that's exactly what Dell is doing.

Thanks to the company's recent slip up with it, it is now known that a Dell XPS 13-9360 is coming. According to Dell's online stores for the UK and China, the upcoming laptop release will feature Intel's 7th generation Kaby Lake processors.

Note that the UK page has previously been taken down, but it is now up and running again just like the China page.

Both portals list four configurations for the XPS 13-9360. The lowest one at £1,079 ($1,429) sports an Intel Core i5-7200U processor that is packed with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. The second iteration at £1,099 ($1,455) upgrades the internal storage to 256 GB.

The highest-end configuration fits the laptop with an Intel Core i7-7500U, 8 GB of RAM and a 256-GB SSD for £1,149 ($1,522). There's also a touch-enabled version that features the same specs as the second iteration except for InfinityEdge touch display in QHD+ resolution. The touch screen's addition racks up the cost to £1,229 ($1,627).

Bear in mind that while the first three configurations all run at a native 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, the touch-enabled model will run natively at 3,200 x 1,800.

All four configurations will come with Windows 10 Home on-board. It should also be noted that the memory modules used are 1,866 MHz LPDDR3. Each iteration will also feature a Killer 1535 Wireless-AC adapter for Wi-Fi connectivity and will support Thunderbolt 3.

Similar to the Dell XPS 13-9350, the Dell XPS 13-9360 will come with a 13.3-inch display. The integrated widescreen HD (720p) webcam with dual array digital microphones also remains unchanged. The same is true for the backlit chiclet keyboard.

The battery has been improved. Compared to the 9350's 56 wHR, 4-cell battery, the 9360 has a 60 wHR, 4-cell pack. Dell claims that it offers the longest battery life among 13-inch laptops, lasting up to 22 hours of continual use for the full HD models. It lasts for 13 hours when streaming content from Netflix, according to the company. The laptop can come in either Rose Gold or Silver.

While Dell's portal for both the UK and China are yet to list them, Engadget reports that a basic Core i3 with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD iteration, which costs $799, will also be available for the XPS 13-9360. An optional 16 GB RAM upgrade, along with up to 1 TB for storage, will also be offered according to the publication.
