There is finally some good news for T-Mobile customers who preordered the iPhone 7 Plus: the Jet Black devices are finally starting to arrive.

Although many people made sure to put their orders in for the new back color 256 GB device as soon as humanly possible on Sept. 9, it has taken until now for some T-Mobile customers to get their phones shipped.

Some customers who were previously given estimated shipping dates of Sept. 19 or the week of are now receiving tracking numbers and having their Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus delivered to their doors.

While this is still one week later that previously thought, it's music to the ears of Apple fans who have been patiently - and not-so-patiently - awaiting its arrival.

More and more customers are reporting on forums and social media that their Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus devices are being delivered or on its way for delivery.

Some customers reported that they received tracking information on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, with the updated estimated shipping delivery date of Sept. 28. For some this means checking the UPS tracking number until their doorbell rings or monitoring any changes. However, some think that their package will likely be delivered by this evening or tomorrow.

Just because T-Mobile deliveries are starting to trickle in doesn’t mean that everyone is a happy customer right now. There are still plenty of people who are yet to be charged or given an update on when they can expect the iPhone to be delivered.

Even worse is some still have late November and December shipping dates.

Jet Black customers appear to be the last ones to get their iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices, despite the fact that Matte Black preorders were more popular at T-Mobile.

Still, there has been a global shortage of the Jet Black models, mainly because of how hard it is to manufacture the glossy finish according to quality standards, as well as high demand.

For now, T-Mobile customers have no choice but to continue to wait. Just let the fact that some people are starting to get their Jet Black iPhones give you peace of mind that yours will be coming soon too.
