The highly anticipated Google Pixel and Pixel XL already have landing pages on Bell Canada's website, ahead of the official unveiling on Oct. 4.

Google's upcoming handsets, the Pixel and Pixel XL, have starred in numerous leaks so far and anticipation is building up, but its latest appearance on the Canadian carrier's website is more than a simple leak. The landing pages are as close as we got so far to an official press render of the devices, and the date shown on the smartphones' display confirms the Oct. 4 launch.

This new leak bears more significance, however, considering recent speculation on whether or not the Google Pixel and Pixel XL would be available from any carriers, or just the Google Store.

If Bell Canada's new Google Pixel and Pixel XL pages are any indication, it means the new Google smartphones will be available through more channels beyond the Google Store.

Earlier rumors have suggested that the Pixel and Pixel XL would be available through carriers such as Verizon and Sprint in the United States, but there was no evidence to back up the claim. This new listing could be the first real reference regarding carrier availability for the Google's new Pixels.

The Canadian carrier doesn't offer an option to order the devices just yet, nor does it offer any pricing details at this point. Oddly enough, the URL for the Google Pixel landing page on Bell Canada contains an "SNote7" preorder mention, not the Pixel moniker.

When it comes to design, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL images that Bell Canada has posted basically show what we've already seen in recent leaks. Bell shows the Pixel device in white and the Pixel XL in black.

The images also show the new Google Pixel launcher, the front camera, the audio earpiece and an intriguing sensor just below it. Bell Canada's landing page for each of the two devices also touts "Order yours today," although there's no actual order option.

It's possible that someone jumped the gun early and made the pages public ahead of time. If the page was meant to go live on Oct. 4, this "Order yours today" option could indicate that Google will open preorders immediately after unveiling the two devices.

The new Pixel smartphones may be quite steep, however. Recent rumors have indicated that the Google Pixel will start out at $649 for the base model, so the larger and higher-end Pixel XL will be even more expensive. Alas, Google will reportedly offer financing options for the Pixel and Pixel XL.

With Google's big event just around the corner, we'll soon get the official scoop straight from the source and we'll likely see the two handsets up for preorder as well.
