Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead was a shocker for some as it turns out that Bob might have been bitten by the Walker that brought him under water for just a few seconds. If this is the case, then we can be certain that Bob is a dead man on one leg.

We all know Bob, the man who caused another to lose his life because he was an alcoholic. As fans, we hated Bob, but over the course of many episodes, we've come to like him and understand why he loves to drink.

Bob has gone through some hard times during his travels with the group, but he managed to find love in this gruesome world where zombies are out to kill everyone, and where people are eating people.

However, nothing lasts forever in The Walking Dead, and it now appears as if Bob's time has come. Nevertheless, he might end up being the last man laughing if things go the way we expect it to.

Back in the comic books, Dale did not die the way he did in the TV show. He was bitten, wandering, and came across The Hunters who were stalking the group for meat. They grabbed Dale and took his leg, not knowing that he was infected prior. The Hunters went ahead and ate the leg, and it was only after it happened that Dale told them his body was tainted.

This caused the leader of The Hunters kick Dale near unconscious. All who ate the leg began to worry, but one member of the cannibalistic group theorized that since the meat was well cooked and Dale did not turn yet, everything should be fine.

In the end, the theory was not proven to be either right or wrong as they all died by the hands of Rick and the group of survivors.

Is Bob taking Dale's position here?

We believe this is the case, as he came off very much as a person who was bitten. The question is, will the TV show address the very thing the comic failed to do, and that is whether or not the meat of an unturned can be poisonous to those who eat it.

It would be very interesting to find out if Bob turns out to be infected, and his meat tainted. The look on the faces of those who are eating his leg would be so priceless.
