The fancy Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge from Samsung is now up for grabs at AT&T, shipping later this month on Nov. 18.

With the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 out of the picture for good after two recalls, Samsung fans looking for a 2016 flagship smartphone are left with two choices: the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge.

The latter sports a sleek dual-edge display and an elegant look overall, but the Blue Coral avatar in particular stirred lots of interest. Samsung had already confirmed that the gorgeous Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge was headed to the United States, but offered no details as to which carriers will offer the option and when it will go on sale.

AT&T Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge Preorder And Shipping Info

Samsung fans on AT&T are now in for some good news, as the carrier is officially taking preorders for the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge. The Nov. 18 ship date means that interested customers have to muster their patience for a little while longer, but at least they can order the device now.

It's worth pointing out, however, that the Nov. 18 shipping date is not set in stone. AT&T actually notes that the shipping time frame is between Nov. 18 and Nov. 22 and it's subject to change, so slight changes are not out of the question. If the demand is overwhelmingly high, the shipping date might eventually slip a few days or more, so interested customers might want to order their device sooner rather than later.

Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge Pricing Options

AT&T is offering the Blue Coral version of the Galaxy S7 edge on various pricing options. Those looking to purchase the smartphone outright will have to shell out the full retail price of $794.99, which is quite a hefty investment.

Those looking to break down the cost, meanwhile, can go for an installment plan and make monthly payments to smoothen the blow. AT&T offers the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge at $26.50 per month for 30 months or $33.12 per month for 24 months.

Other than the different color scheme, the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge sports exactly the same specifications as the other versions of the smartphone. Read on if you need a refresher on what this powerhouse has to offer.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Specs

As a reminder, the Galaxy S7 edge boasts a 5.5-inch QHD dual-edge display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a pixel density of 534 pixels per inch (ppi). The handset rocks a water and dust-resistant design, packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 graphics and a hefty 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB and 64 GB storage options. AT&T is selling the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge in the 32 GB configuration.

Other specs include a 12-megapixel main camera with autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording, a 5-megapixel selfie cam, a large 3,600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support and wireless charging out of the box. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy S7 edge also features a microSD card slot for expandable memory of up to 256 GB.

All in all, the Galaxy S7 edge is by all means a beastly smartphone with a neat design and powerful specs and features all around. The Blue Coral color option, previously reserved for the Galaxy Note 7, might now make it even more appealing to prospective customers.

If you're interested in the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge, you can now head over to AT&T and preorder the device.

If you'd rather wait for the next-generation Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S8 is shaping up as a powerful contender set to debut in February at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. If recent clues hold true, the Galaxy S8 may finally rock its very own digital assistant powered by artificial intelligence (AI), among other neat features.
