It wasn't too long ago that Warner Bros. and DC announced a long list of DC related superhero films that are scheduled to hit theaters starting from the year 2016 throughout to 2020. However, for some odd reason, the list did not contain a standalone films for Batman and Superman.

Obviously, this cause a lot of fans to cause an uproar, as they tried to come to terms with Warner Bros. possibly abandoning DCs two top properties during this movie release schedule.

That's not the case though, as Screen Rant is claiming to have seen the full press release sent out by Warner Bros. and it includes Batman and Superman standalone films set between 2016 and 2020. The interesting part of this story is that Warner Bros. did not mention exactly when fans can get to see their favorite heroes get back to kicking ass by themselves.

We're guessing the reason for not talking mentioning films for both Batman and Superman, is probably the need to keep all the attention on the smaller films on the list, and the plan seems to be working from our point of view.

It may take years for us to know more about these films, but at least we have the following list to look forward to until Warner Bros. and DC chooses to reveal all.

1.    Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice - March 25th, 2016

2.    Suicide Squad - August 5th, 2016

3.    Wonder Woman - June 23rd, 2017

4.    Justice League - November 17th, 2017

5.    The Flash - March 23rd, 2018

6.    Aquaman - July 27th, 2018

7.    Shazam - April 5th, 2019

8.    Justice League 2 - June 14th, 2019

9.    Cyborg - April 3rd, 2020

10.    Green Lantern - June 19th, 2020

We've heard rumors a few months ago that the next standalone Batman film, starring Ben Affleck, may hit theaters in 2019, or depending on Affleck's schedule. Furthermore, it is also rumored that Affleck will direct the film himself, so if true, it should could be something interesting.

On the matter of the Superman standalone film, we don't have a lot do say here, we just hope it turns out better than Man of Steel.
