If you're in the market for a new smartphone and a fan of Netflix, T-Mobile has a deal for you. The carrier is offering a free one-year subscription to Netflix when purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge.

Samsung is expected to release its upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in April and some reports claim the company will show off the new smartphones later this month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Samsung Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge Special Deals

With the impending launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, retailers are beginning to try to make room for the handsets by dwindling down inventory of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Most recently, we reported that Best Buy was offering a free Samsung Smart HDTV with purchase of a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge and now, T-Mobile is running its own Galaxy S7 and S7 edge promotion.

Netflix Free One-Year Subscription

T-Mobile is offering customers one free year of Netflix when purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge. If you buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge from T-Mobile between Feb. 1 and Feb. 7, you'll receive a single-use code for Netflix that will give you a full one year subscription to the streaming service.

Android 7.0 Nougat Software Update On The Way

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be getting one of the biggest features of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in the very near future. A recently leaked video shows the Galaxy S7 running Android 7.0 Nougat, which is expected to see a release from T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint in the coming weeks.

While time is running out for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge of having flagship smartphone status, the pair are among the most popular handsets on the market and Samsung's current specs and features, in addition to an update to Android 7.0 Nougat, should keep the devices a formidable and capable choice when choosing a new smartphone.

Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge Specs And Features

The Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, while the S7 edge bumps its screen size up to 5.5-inches. The handsets are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 4 GB of RAM. The devices include 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 256 GB microSD cards. Samsung has packed in a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, in addition to making both devices dustproof and waterproof.
