It's not Black Friday but it does not mean Apple fans cannot find great deals for the only tablet in the world they love. One of the best tablet deals worthy of one's time and hard-earned dollars at the moment is Target's 9.7-inch iPad Pro offer.

iPad Pro Sale At Target

The entry-level variant of the smaller model of the iPad Pro with 32 GB storage usually starts at $599 but Target has slashed the price tag by $150. This means you can grab the tablet for just $450. It's still pricier than the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 4 but you're getting a more potent tablet.

The iPad Pro comes with retina display with 2,048 x 1,536 resolution. Brain power comes from an A9X chip with 64-bit desktop class capabilities. For those who love good cameras, the iPad Pro does not disappoint with its 12-megapixel main clicker that's able to capture 4K video. It also comes with a 5-megapixel HD front camera that's perfect for FaceTime. Of course, the tablet's compatible with the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil.

CNET first spotted the deal, which is only available in-store. The Target iPad sale started Sunday and will last until Feb. 11, Saturday.

The Target iPad deal is not limited to the 32-GB variant of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Users can also grab the 128 GB and the 256 GB iPad Pro for $550 and $650, respectively. These deals offer about 22 percent discount for the Pro with a smaller storage and roughly a 19 percent price cut for the one with bigger storage.

Those who are not convinced with the iPad Pro deal can consider a $50 price cut on the iPad mini 2 that now sells for $220.

Amazon and Best Buy also offer some good discounts on the iPad Pro.

Target also offers big discounts for the Apple Watch Series 1 38mm. The wearable that usually sells for $270 is now just going for $200. The 42mm model also comes with $70 off and now sells for $230.

New Apple iPads Coming Soon

Why Target is able to slash the price of the iPad Pro is no secret. Apple might release a new version of the tablet soon.

There are also reports that Apple might release three new iPads this year. Rumors suggest that there will be an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro, a more affordable 9.7-inch iPad, and a new 10.5-inch or 10.9-inch version of the Pro.

Based on new iPad Pro specs rumors, it can make Microsoft worry. A lot. The new iPads might be powered by an A10X chip in tandem with 6 GB or 4 GB RAM. The tablets might also come with upgraded rear cameras.
