Huawei is all set to unveil the P10 and P10 Plus at the 2017 Mobile World Congress on Feb. 26, with the Chinese smartphone manufacturer launching a teaser for the smartphones just a few days ago.

With less than two weeks to go before the announcement of the P10 and P10 Plus, however, the official promotional renders for the P10 Plus have leaked, showing interested customers what the premium smartphone will look like upon its release.

Huawei P10 Plus Official Renders Leaked

The leaked promotional images for the P10 Plus, which were first reported by Chinese website MyDrivers, confirms many of the details that have so far been reported on the smartphones.

While the P10 is said to have a flat screen and its fingerprint sensor located at its front, the leaked images confirmed that the P10 Plus will feature a dual-curved display and its fingerprint sensor located at the back.

The leaked images show the P10 Plus only in color black, but it is widely expected that the smartphone will be offered in other colors. It is believed that one of these colors is gold, as revealed by renders of the P10 and P10 Plus that were reported a couple of weeks ago.

However, the gold-colored render of the P10 Plus showed a round fingerprint sensor, compared to the square fingerprint sensor found in the latest leaked image. In addition, the previous leaked render showed the LED flash module of the smartphone, located beside the dual camera sensors at the back, as having a round shape, compared to the newly revealed render that has the LED flash module coming with a rounded rectangular shape.

The small inconsistencies between the two renders do not necessarily mean that one of them is fake. It is possible that the gold-colored render of the P10 Plus was a design that was not yet finalized, with the design in the leaked promotional images the final one that will be seen in the smartphone once it hits the market.

Huawei P10 Plus Specs

Except for the shape of the display and the positioning of the fingerprint sensor, Huawei's P10 and P10 Plus are expected to carry the same specifications and features. Both smartphones will have 5.5-inch QHD displays and powered by the Kirin 960 chipset. RAM is expected to either be at 4 GB or 6 GB, with internal storage of either 32 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB, depending on the model. The front-facing camera will be an 8 MP one, while the dual-camera setup at the back will carry Leica branding.

The smartphones are expected to be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat upon launch, with Huawei's EMUI 5.0 placed on top of the mobile operating system.

A recent report claims that the price of the Huawei P10 Plus will be about $849, based on an early retail listing on a Spanish website. The listing also claims that the smartphone will have a massive 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 512 GB, though these specs are likely only placeholders and not the real ones for the upcoming smartphone.
