If you are a subscriber of Verizon Wireless, then you will be pleased to learn that the carrier is poised to offer the Moto G5 Plus in the United States.

According to new leak from the well-known tipster Evan Blass, who goes by the Twitter handle @evlaeaks, Verizon will be one of the U.S. network operators to offer the Moto G5 Plus in the country.

Blass took to Twitter to share an image of the Verizon variant of the upcoming Moto G5 Plus. The image does not throw much light on the impending handset, except that it seems to resemble the international variant.

The leaked image shows off the metal body of the smartphone, as well as the round camera housing on the rear of the device. Strangely, one cannot spot the Verizon branding on the Moto G5 Plus' image shared by the leakster. The handset shows off the Lunar Gray option of the device.

Moto G5 Plus: Rumored Specs

Many alleged images of the impending smartphone have leaked online, offering a glimpse into the handset.

Moto G5 Plus, the successor of the Moto G4 Plus, is expected to sport either a 5.5-inch or 5.2-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display.

Rumors also suggest that the bigger sibling of the Moto G5 will come with the same SoC as that of the Moto Z Play — the octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, which is clocked at 2 Ghz.

The leaks have also indicated that the smartphone may boast 2 GB of RAM and have an onboard storage of 64 GB.

The handset is likely to come with a 12MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone may also house a 3,000mAh battery featuring TurboPower charging.

According to reports, the smartphone may come pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat and support LTE connectivity. If rumors are to be believed, then the smartphone is also likely to have a fingerprint scanner.

Availability And Pricing

The Moto G5 Plus is likely to debut on Feb. 26 at the MWC. The latest renders leaked on Twitter suggests that Verizon could release the handset on April 3, as clearly seen from the device's home screen.

However, before its arrival in the United States, it may first hit the smartphone markets of other countries such as India and Brazil, where the Motorola handsets are quite popular.

As for the pricing, rumors say that the smartphone may be available with a price tag of around $250.
