For months TellTale Games, the developers behind The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, has been teasing fans about its take on the Game of Thrones universe. It's time to add another tease to that ever-growing list.

TellTale Games tweeted this morning that the upcoming game would be six episodes instead of five, making Games of Thrones the company's longest project to date. The tweet also says the first episodes of the game will be "premiering soon."

The image of the Iron Throne above might also be our first look at the game's art style. TellTale employee Job Stauffer tweeted yesterday he was playing two games at the TellTale office. One of them, he says, looked like his favorite FPS, while the other looked like a living oil painting. The FPS Stauffer is referring to is Tales from the Borderlands, an episodic adventure game set in the same world of the popular Borderlands shooter. That makes many believe the "living oil painting" must be Game of Thrones. Judging from the look of the Iron Throne above, they are probably right.

So far much isn't known about the plot of the game. It is suspected the story may revolve around the family members of House Forrester, a minor house briefly mentioned in George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire novels, upon which HBO's Game of Thrones is based. TellTale president Steve Allison did confirm that players will control five different family members, all belonging to the same house.
