The 7th Fast & Furious film, Furious 7, could end up being the last movie in the long running franchise. We knew this day would come due to the death of Paul Walker, because the actor has been a part of the franchise since the very beginning.

The plan here is to use Furious 7 to connect all the films in the franchise, including Tokyo Drift. Once everything is connected, Furious 7 could be the movie that answers every unanswered question, along with putting an end to the franchise once and for all.

We expect millions of fans to have a serious problem with the possible ending of the films, but this is something that needed to happen. There can't possibly be a Fast & Furious film without Paul Walker because it wouldn't feel right. Just like all the major cast, he is the franchise and the franchise is him.

So far, the first Furious 7 trailer managed to be viewed 100 million times in just 48 hours. It is proof that the franchise is overwhelmingly popular among moviegoers. We're sure that Universal would love to continue making more of these films, but there's a possibility the actors are no longer interested since one of their own has died.

According to Deadline, Universal is planning to coax director Justin Lin to work on multiple projects that will put an end to the Fast & Furious franchise. From what we understand, there is a possibility for more Fast & Furious films with Lin behind the camera, and once those are done; everything will come to an end.

If Lin doesn't come onboard, then Furious 7 could be the end of everything.

We'd prefer if Universal focus on films such as Wolfman and the Bourne movie with Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass. We know that the Fast & Furious franchise is a big money maker and it helps keep the bottom-line in check, but with Paul Walker out of the picture for good, the studio should honor his memory by moving on after Furious 7.

But hey, in this industry, money talks, and it is more important than everything else.
