Information pertaining to the new downloadable expansion pack of Rainbow Six Siege has leaked online courtesy some redditors.

The second year of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege was flagged off with Operation Velvet shell DLC. The current leak gives a hint of what content the second major DLC would bring ardent gamers' way.

'Rainbow Six Siege' Reddit Leaks

Three separate leaks by different redditors have given the gaming world plenty of information about the gameplay's new locations, operator names, maps, weapons, and gadgets.

On Reddit, a user going by the name "dirtydanisreal" shared the possible names of two new operators, who may join the gameplay after the May DLC pack releases.

The two new operators or characters who will join the current Rainbow Six Siege team are Dazzler and Caltrop and they will hail from Hong Kong.

In a different thread, another redditor named "Klumpaen" revealed a little more about the upcoming DLC pack. The redditor shared details of some more items, weapons, and features, hinting that the two new operators may be able to use them.

"Klumpaen" revealed that two new weapons — JS9 SMG for defenders and QBZ-95 Assault Rifle — may be introduced in the DLC pack, along with gadgets such as Concussion Mine. This gadget seems like a type of toxic trap, which players would have to plant.

He also detailed information on the game's supposed skins, gears, and camos. He shared on the Reddit thread that the May DLC pack for Rainbow Six Siege, may come with the following:

Kryptek Mandrake camo (Jäger);

Kryptek Banshee (Doc);

Kryptek Nomad camo (Smoke);

Valkyrie Pro League set;

Mute reptile bundle;

Tachanka Swarm headgear;

Capitao Elite Skin;

Tachanka Ballistic Salvation headgear;

Mute Reptile Bundle; and

Valkyrie Pro League Charm.

Yet another leak, this time by a redditor named "Major_Blackbird," shared the possibility of a new map being included in the upcoming DLC. The map named Theme Park was discovered when the redditor was going through the matchmaking preferences on the Technical Test Servers.

However, details of this map are yet to be discovered, so players would have to wait patiently till more information emerges.

What Led To The Leaks?

Gamers and datatminers are always on the lookout for new information regarding a game. The leaks, which started on Wednesday April 5, were triggered when a Hong Kong map dubbed Ocean Park was uploaded online through the Rainbow Six Siege Technical Test Server.

This led to the dataminers looking more deeply into the latest downloads, and in no time the above leaks came to light.

As of now, Ubisoft, the developer and publisher of the Rainbow Six Siege, is yet to announce the exact release date of the game's year two season two DLC.

However, fans are expecting the same to land sometime in May. Rainbow Six Siege is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
