Ubisoft officially offers post-launch details for its highly-acclaimed Tom Clancy's The Division title, disclosing the DLC roadmap and year one content information.

Thanks to the latest announcement, gamers now know what they can expect in terms of add-ons and upcoming content set to enrich the game experience in the months to come.

First off, Ubisoft will release two free upgrades for The Division. An Incursions endgame mode encouraging team play will roll out in April, while a new Conflict update will arrive in May.

The Incursions mode will involve pitting four-player teams against "nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot," as Ubisoft notes. Loot trading will also be in the mix with this new mode, allowing players in the same team to trade loot with each other.

The Conflict update will include a new Dark Zone feature, as well as an intriguing Columbus Circle event.

After these two free updates, The Division fans can expect to see paid DLC packages starting to arrive in June. New confrontations in the dangerous underground tunnels of New York City will be the first to roll out, after which the game will get a neat Survival expansion in the summer. Later this year, in the winter, Ubisoft will also add a Last Stand scenario to pose a "relentless threat" to players.

The Division gamers will also get plenty of fresh missions, both daily and weekly, and Ubisoft will also offer Dark Zone events periodically to spice things up. Players will also be able to buy either a Season Pass or one of the two deluxe versions - Gold or Collector's Edition.

As a reminder, Tom Clancy's The Division is set to launch on March 8 on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and is expected to be among the biggest games of 2016. Fans will also be happy to know that The Division will not involve any microtransactions, as Ubisoft recently confirmed.

It remains to be seen how things will unfold with free DLCs coming so soon after launch, but The Division seems poised to make it big. Check out the year one content trailer below to get a better idea of what to expect.
