Microsoft is bringing back the Xbox FanFest to this year's annual E3, and the company has now revealed how gamers can participate in the event.

The Xbox FanFest, which Microsoft started doing a little over three years ago, is one of the most popular events for the company's Xbox console, with 13,000 gamers participating last year in Xbox FanFest events held around the world.

Xbox FanFest At E3 2017 Details

The Xbox FanFest, as announced through an official press release on the Xbox Wire, will be a three-day event in Los Angeles that will cover the dates of June 11 to June 13. The event will lead up to the launch of this year's E3, which will run from June 13 to June 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The event will be exclusive for 500 gamers, who will receive a variety of perks from Microsoft. They will be able to enter the Xbox E3 briefing on June 11, and will also receive a customized backpack that is "full of gaming swag."

Microsoft added that FanFest attendees will be able to gain early access on June 12 to exclusive titles and blockbuster games coming to the Xbox One, as well as get to try the highly anticipated Xbox Project Scorpio.

How To Get A Ticket For Xbox FanFest

It will not be easy to grab a spot among the 500 attendees of the Xbox FanFest, but being able to try out the Xbox Project Scorpio before almost everyone else is already a good enough reason to try.

According to Microsoft, gamers who would like to attend will need to be over 21 years old and should have their own gamertag on the Xbox Live network.

Microsoft is employing an online registration process for interested gamers to participate in the Xbox FanFest this year, so that they can lock in their attendance with ample time in advance. The first 400 of the 500 available tickets will be released on April 19 on a first-come, first-serve basis, in several drops throughout the day. The first drop will be at 6:00 a.m. PT, with the times of the other drops to be posted on the official Xbox account on Twitter with the hashtag #XboxFanFest. It is safe to assume that the tickets will be sold in a flash, so gamers will need to be quick once a drop is made.

Players who would like to try their luck in securing a ticket to the Xbox FanFest will need to have a credit card to reserve one. There is no additional charge for the reservation, but gamers who will cancel their attendance will need to pay certain fees.

The remaining 100 tickets will be released by Microsoft through various giveaways and promotions that will be launched as E3 2017 draws near. The promotions will also carry the #XboxFanFest hashtag on Twitter.

Xbox Project Scorpio At E3 2017

The Xbox Project Scorpio is widely expected to be the highlight of Microsoft's presentation and booth at E3 2017, with the remaining unknown details of the console to be unveiled.

One thing that gamers will look forward to would be the games that will be coming to the console, as that would be one of the biggest factors on whether or not the Xbox Project Scorpio succeeds.
