A beefed-up Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) with more RAM and storage has just leaked online, sporting four attractive color options.

AT&T has already launched a Galaxy J3 (2017), but the model that just leaked is slightly different. The AT&T Galaxy J3 features 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage space, but the international version could be slightly more powerful.

New Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) Variant With Better Specs?

Trusted tipster Roland Quandt of WinFuture.de says the international version of the Galaxy J3 (2017) will ship with at least 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage, and Samsung will also offer a beefier configuration with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage in select markets such as China.

The device will reportedly carry model number SM-J330 and the latest leaked images show four color options — black, light blue, pink, and gold. The smartphone features a 5-inch LCD display with 2.5D glass and an HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio.

This Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is expected to pack a 14-nanometer, 64-bit Exynos 7570 processor, and Mali-T720 graphics. The smartphone will reportedly support additional storage of up to 128 GB or 256 GB via microSD.

In the camera department, this Galaxy J3 (2017) version will reportedly sport a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter, which would mark a great improvement over the AT&T version. As a reminder, the existing AT&T Galaxy J3 (2017) offers a meager 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie cam. The battery is expected to remain unchanged at 2,600 mAh, and it will likely be a non-removable unit.

The handset should come with Android 7.0 Nougat on board out of the box, with Samsung's own proprietary UX on top, just like the AT&T version that went on sale recently. The beefed-up Galaxy J3 is rumored to hit Germany, Benelux and Scandinavian countries in the next few weeks, with expanded availability to follow this summer.

All in all, this purported Galaxy J3 (2017) variant would still be a midrange offering, but it would sport some notable improvements in terms of RAM, storage and camera prowess. The smartphone should still come at an affordable price point, albeit it remains unclear for now just how much this variant would cost. This model would also have a metal back plate for a more premium touch.

Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) Imminent

Higher-end Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) are also expected to hit the scene any day now. The two smartphones have been rumored for a good while now and leaked on several occasions, and Samsung accidentally confirmed them last week. The company has yet to formally introduce the new members of its Galaxy J family of smartphones, but an official unveiling could be just around the corner.

Samsung could announce the new Galaxy J3 (2017) variant at the same time as the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2017), but nothing is officially confirmed at this point. As always in such cases, make sure to take all rumors and leaks with a hefty grain of salt.
