Mark Zuckerberg might be the face of Facebook, but Sheryl Sandberg is the person who really runs the social media company. Since 2008, Sandberg has served as the chief operating officer (COO) of Facebook.
During Sandberg's time at Facebook, the social media network has emerged as one of the world's best tech companies. She manages numerous aspects of the company such as sales, communications, advertising, business development, and public policy. Sandberg is also the first woman to serve on the board of directors for Facebook. She has also served on the board of the Walt Disney Company.
