New photos of Brie Larson in full Captain Marvel costume have made their way online as the movie returns to film in a Los Angeles set.

Captain Marvel Set Photos Reveal Brie Larson In Green

The photos show Larson in a green suit, which is the same as the one spotted in earlier set photos. The new photos hint that Captain Marvel will be donning this attire for a longer time than anticipated in the movie, possibly for the whole duration of it.

This would contradict speculations stating that the green costume is only a temporary one and that Carol Danvers will sport a different costume later in the film. The speculations sprouted from the suit's clear difference from the one in the comics, on which Captain Marvel is based, displaying blue, red, and gold colors.

The green color scheme, however, is in line with the original Mar-Vell, the Kree warrior who gave Danvers her powers. It is still possible for the heroine to wear a new attire that more closely resembles her costume in the comics. It is also a possibility that she would sport the new costume instead on her second appearance, which is in Avengers 4.

Nevertheless, fans are not too keen yet on the idea of Captain Marvel in a green costume. They are still waiting to see the superhero in her iconic blue, red, and gold suit. Below shows a link to her on set.

Captain Marvel's Place In The MCU

Avengers: Infinity War first made the official reference to the character at the post-credits scene. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) contacted the superhero, seeing the aftermath of the Avengers' fight with Thanos (Josh Brolin). It was then that her logo appeared on the device.

It is yet unknown what her role will be in the upcoming film, but fans speculate that she will have a large part in saving the galaxy and perhaps the Avengers as well. Ant-Man is also rumored to be a vital key in defeating the mad Titan. He is appearing in the Ant-Man and the Wasp movie on July 6, 2018, which is set before the events of the Infinity War.

Before appearing on the follow-up Avengers movie, however, she is set to appear on her standalone film Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019. Set in the '90s, it features previously introduced MCU characters Fury and Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). Ronan (Lee Pace) and Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) from Guardians of the Galaxy are also set to make an appearance.
