The Google Pixel 3 XL leaks keep coming, with the latest one courtesy of a Lyft driver who apparently found a prototype of the unreleased smartphone from the back of his vehicle.

The Pixel 3 XL is probably the most leaked smartphone in recent memory, and some may be thinking that Google is doing it intentionally. At this rate, will Google have any surprises left for when the Pixel 3 XL is officially unveiled next month?

Google Pixel 3 XL Prototype Left Behind In Lyft Ride

A Lyft driver contributed to the series of Pixel 3 XL leaks by sending pictures of what appeared to be a prototype of the smartphone to Android Police.

The Lyft driver apparently found the Pixel 3 XL in the back seat of his vehicle after dropping off some passengers. A Pixel 2 XL owner himself, he thought that it was his smartphone that fell to the back, but he recognized that it was the Pixel 3 XL after seeing the notch on the display.

The device was returned to its owner shortly afterward, but not before the Lyft driver took a few photos of the smartphone. In addition to the notch, the pictures showcase the dual cameras and speaker on the bottom bezel at the front, and the single camera and fingerprint scanner at the back. There were some identifying stickers on the Pixel 3 XL pre-production unit, but they were covered up.

Google Pixel 3 XL Pics And Specs

There have been more than a few Pixel 3 XL leaks, revealing various pictures of the smartphone and its specifications.

In June, prolific leaker OnLeaks uploaded several CAD-based renders on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. This was followed by a barrage of leaks last month, starting with a Pixel 3 XL unboxing video by a Telegram user in Ukraine.

The unboxing video showed the notch of the Pixel 3 XL, as well as the inclusion of wired Pixel Buds. It was followed by a Pixel 3 XL hands-on video that revealed key specifications, including Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of local storage, and a 3,430 mAh battery.

Another Pixel 3 XL leak came out from Russia, showing the smartphone working with a wireless charger and samples of pictures taken using the Pixel 3 XL camera. It was later reported that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will come with a new feature called Super Selfies, which will allow Portrait mode photos to have faux bokeh.

Google will unveil its latest flagship smartphones on Oct. 9. Is there anything about the Pixel 3 XL that we do not yet know about?
