Childish Gambino has postponed his tour because he obtained an injury. His shows in Austin City Limits and Seattle have also been canceled.

The singer was injured on the night of Sept. 23 during his concert in Dallas. Donald Glover, the singer behind the alias, was onstage at American Airlines Center before he exited the stage and did not return for the crowd to perform "3005," and "Redbone."

What Happened During Glover's Concert

The crowd was confused when the singer left. The audience even started doing the wave because they were thought an encore would happen. After a few moments, an announcer told them that the show was over.

Currently, what happened to Glover or the extent of his injury is still undetermined. Reports indicate that the "Summertime Magic" singer most likely broke his foot, after he aggravated an injury he previously suffered.

However, an audience in his show said that he attempted to do a split and hurt himself in the process. Other concertgoers claimed that he injured himself during one of his dance moves.

"This is America tour is postponed, not cancelled. My guy played through the pain, but has to sit some dates out. Back before the years over," tweeted Fam Rothstein, from the singer's creative agency, Wolf + Rothstein.

Currently, it is still unclear whether or not the popular musician will be returning for all his scheduled shows. Aside from his tour, he was also set to be play as the headlining act for the Voodoo Music Experience, and Austin City Limits.

"The tour will kick off in Nashville in early December. Sadly, the Seattle stop is now cancelled "due to venue renovations," said Wolf + Rothstein in a statement.

Childish Gambino's Last Tour

The Grammy, Golden Globe, and Emmy-winning artist started his tour at the start of the month in Atlanta, the namesake of the show he created and stars in. Additionally, the multi-talented artist promised that his current tour, This Is America, would be his last concert tour under his current stage name.

Recently, he released a star-studded animated music video for his song "Feels Like Summer." Among the stars who were featured in the video were Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Kanye West, Drake, Solange, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Michelle Obama, and Beyoncé.

"His mind is one of a kind and we worked hard on making this right," stated Rothstein about the music video's illustrator.
