Amped Wireless has unveiled its next-generation long-range AC1900 Wi-Fi routers and extender, which the company will showcase at the upcoming 2014 International CES.

The company officially announced the launch of RTA30, a high power AC1900 Wi-Fi router, and REA33, a high power AC1900 Wi-Fi range extender. Both the devices are meant for both home and office use and will be available from mid-2014.

Amped Wireless claims that it has introduced cutting-edge high power technology in its latest products, which provides up to four times more Wi-Fi range and speed to its customers.

Both feature the latest, high power Wi-Fi technology and are packed with high power parts to provide the best Wi-Fi experience ever offered. This means faster streaming, downloading and web browsing with all of your devices, throughout your entire home, backyard, or office," said Jason Owen, CEO of Amped Wireless.

The RTA30 features eight Wi-Fi radios, four high gain, dual band antennas and 16 high power amplifiers, which will maximize performance. The router also includes a USB 3.0 port for file sharing and five gigabit wired ports for users to connect to a broadband network and attach additional wired devices. The RTA30 also includes an updated user interface and premium software features such as guest networks, adjustable Wi-Fi coverage controls, parental security and more.

The REA33 assists a user in extending the range of any 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network, simultaneously. The extender features 8 four high gain antennas, Wi-Fi radios, dual band antennas and 16 total high power amplifiers to maximize performance. The REA33 also includes a USB 3.0 port for convenient file sharing and five gigabit wired ports for connecting extra wired devices to a network. The extender includes improved user interface for easy installation and better management.

Amped Wireless products boast advanced Wi-Fi amplifiers and high gain antennas to pep up performance. The company says that standard Wi-Fi devices have 50mW of wireless output power, while Amped Wireless products features amplifiers with up to 1000mW of power.

The company will hold a press conference on January 6 and will showcase the latest innovations at Pepcom's Digital Experience! at the Mirage in Las Vegas from 7pm to 10:30pm. The company will also display the new router and extender along with other products at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from January 7 to January 10 at its Booth #36061 in South Hall 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
