Epic Games has launched a small, new Fortnite update that went live this Wednesday, Dec. 4.

As with previous Fortnite updates, Epic Games was still unable to publish the official patch note for version 11.21, but that there were some notes left on the Community Trello Board.

Update v.11.21

Looking at it, the small update was a minor one and mostly included fixes to several issues the game currently has, including hitching and controller lag--issues that didn't affect everyone on every platform.

Fortnite patch 11.21 went live on Wednesday.

With that, Newsweek noted that it is possible you might not notice any changes at all when you downloaded the latest patch.

Nonetheless, here is the unofficial patch notes for update v.11.21:

  • Fixed issue that causes incorrect Refund Token count display

  • Show FPS option no longer missing

  • Addressed controller input delay for some actions

  • Fixed issue that causes map marker rotation axis to offset when rotating with the Phone tool

  • Addressed the FPS drop and hitching

  • Fixed issue that causes the buildings to look low-detailed on the Nintendo Switch

Epic Games has also added that they will be addressing the controller lag in the upcoming updates, so if you're still experiencing a little problem even after the latest patch, the next releases might bring the solution you need.

An Upcoming Event?

While the unofficial patches didn't give away an upcoming event, Fortnite data miners were able to dig up something interesting.

According to Dexerto, data miners leaked some details about an upcoming event known as the "Galileo," which they have dug up after the most recent patch and should be the first event of Chapter 2.

Based on the back-end files that have been discovered, Risky Reels will be undergoing map changes, and it seems like a few of the changes have already started, as some players reported to noticing subtle changes to the location.

The changes are believed to be part of the upcoming "Galileo" event.

Risky Reels are still filled with old cars, but according to the leak, the cars will soon be moved to the sides, and the center will be filled with construction vehicles like bulldozers and cranes, plus there will be several circles of construction cones soon.

Nonetheless, data miners are yet to uncover any concrete details as to what the event will be, and what will happen in Risky Reels--but they believed it will be somewhat in celebration of the new year.

Epic Games Investigates a Glitch

Meanwhile, several Fortnite players have reported that they are getting locked out of their accounts after being asked to input their birthday.
