App Annie, a mobile application analytics firm, reported that mobile consumers worldwide will have downloaded 120 billion apps and spent $90 billion on them by the end of 2019. These figures represent a significant increase from the 2018 record, given that these numbers do not include re-installation or app updates. Top 10 Mobile Games by Downloads

This year, we have seven new entries on the list of most downloaded mobile games, including Call of Duty: Mobile from the battle royale category and the super simple 3D racing game from Good Job Games.

Top 10 Breakout Mobile Games by Downloads

App Annie also introduced a new category called the Breakout Mobile Games of the Year. These are the mobile game applications that saw the largest growth in both downloads and consumer spend between 2018 and 2019.

For this category, Good Job Games had the most downloaded games, taking the first three spots on the list. The list also has seven hyper-casual titles and two new releases, one from Nintendo and one from Activision Blizzard.
