Calling all Pokemon GO players out there, long waiting is now over as Pokemon GO Minccino knocks his way to your hearts and your PokeBalls with this week's latest announcement on the game.

Minccino field research

Since the celebration of Lunar Year or the Year of the Rat starts, Pokemon GO announced this week that Normal-type Pokemon Minccino would be appearing in the game for a special limited research event, happening on Sunday, Feb. 2, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Once you finished all the tasks needed for the field research, players can now have the chance to catch this cutest Pokemon and evolved it into Cinccino through the use of an Unova Stone.

Luckily for you, once the field research ends, Minccino will still be hatching more from 5 km Eggs, making his appearance eye-catching to all players that are available throughout the day of field research.

If you are more than lucky, you can also have the chance to find a notable kind of Minccino on his shiny version along with your field research.

Though Minccino looks too cute for battling, this Pokemon is an excellent addition to your Pokedex as it can offer its multi-strike moves such as Tail Slap that can make your enemies weak for a long time.
