The Super Bowl is now more for a sport for rich or for ordinary people who save up a LOT just to go to this event. A ticket to watch Super Bowl 2020 will cost you just about $6,785 if you want to experience it live with the rest of the fans out there. To put into perspective to us tech-heads out there, a high-end PC rig like Alienware Aurora provides costs around $4000 with almost all the bells and whistles.

What to Expect for the Price of Admission?

Super Bowl 2020 is shaping up to be another very luxurious event in the history of sports. If the ticket prices are not any indication for you just check out the roster of half time performances by Jeniffer Lopez and Shakira, for fans of Shakira, this event will mark her 43rd birthday as well- they alone are worth a lot and fans will be in for another spectacle, that's for sure.

Other celebrity performances have also been rumored to drop by with the likes of The Chainsmokers, Lizzo, DJ Khaled, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Meek Mill, Guns N' Roses, Maroon 5, Harry Styles, DJ Mark Ronson, Fat Joe, Nicky Jam, Lil' Jon, 50 Cent, Flo Rida, Swizz Beatz, Pitbull and Lady Gaga will all be in the city but as of who will perform it's just up to speculation yet.

Why the Increase Anyway?

This wasn't always the case if you could believe it, Super Bowl started quite modestly, but due to the popularity of the event over the decades, the prices skyrocketed to unbelievably absurd amounts that we see today.

Back when the Super Bowl was at its infancy, it only costs about much as you'd pay in a diner, which is about $12. 1985 was the time modern ticket prices were implemented and costs about a premium subscription nowadays for about $60 to $85. As we reached the year 2000, this is when prices continued to rise with ads during the Super Bowl events costing more now, this placed the ticket price dramatically from $300 - $900.

Now back to the present time, as stated above it now costs over $6000 to premium seats of about $40,000. Reflect on that for a moment and see if this is a trend that should still continue, so far this is what we can expect on the up and coming prices for these games. Is it better to just watch from the comfort of your home or in pubs or are you willing to pay the prices to watch in person?

This year's Super Bowl will be a fight against the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. This battle, regardless of the outcome, will be talked about for a long time, that's for sure. The loyal fanbase of these people will be coming out to support them from further away than before.
