Apple iPhone upgrades for the year 2020 are quickly taking shape, and not only do they look like the largest upgrades in years, but Apple will also release more models than ever before.
Apple is anticipated to launch a low-value iPhone in March this year. The California-based tech giant said the new phone would be an iPhone SE's upgraded version.
The company stated to retain this next year, too, with some other low-price iPhone. However, Apple seems not to opt-out Face ID for this low-fee iPhone due to the Touch ID feature.

What's the difference?
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, through MacRumors, said this 2021 iPhone will highlight an LCD display like the upcoming iPhone 9 (iPhone SE 2), which is launching in the next few months. Kuo also stated the Touch ID button on this iPhone might be embedded on the side.
With a facet-installed fingerprint sensor, there will be extra room for display at the 2021 iPhone. The fingerprint authentication on the Touch ID for next year's iPhone might be capacitive and feature a brand new design. This iPhone is also said to characteristic a 5.5-inch or 6.1-inch display.
Kuo said that the new iPhone will cut the tradition and come in the first half of 2021 with an "almost edge-to-edge design" and a smaller (if not entirely absent) notch due to the Face ID omission. He added the fingerprint solution would be capacitive and sport a "new design" for improved user experience.
The new Touch ID integration could be a moderate upgrade over the coming iPhone 9 that's said to feature a Touch ID button. iPhone 9 is also anticipated to function a dated design just like the iPhone 8 but have high-end internals. It could feature a 4.7-inch LCD display that's also the same as the iPhone 8.

Kuo, in a research note with TF International Securities, said the so-called iPhone 9 Plus (or iPhone SE2 Plus) will blend the best of the iPhone 6/7/8 design with the best of the newer iPhone XR/11 series.
Kuo, however, didn't discuss further regarding the other features or how this new mobile phone would be unique than the rest of the models that Apple launched previously.

Apple filed a patent earlier this year that indicates a potential future Apple Pencil release with a Touch ID-enabled power button. Other rumors have the same biometric technology in a future MacBook Pro release.
How much would the 2021 iPhone be?
This iPhone can be powered by way of the A13 Bionic chipset that's used at the iPhone eleven series. Reports propose iPhone 9 will have 3GB of RAM with two storage versions of 64GB and 128GB. iPhone 9's estimated price is $399 for the base model.
How is Apple keeping the price down? This new iPhone, according to Kuo, would be designated as a new entry-level model and would have an LCD display instead of OLED.
