Sony's MWC being canceled does not stop them from showing off their new line of phones as they now have released the sequel to the Xperia 1, named Xperia 1 Mark 2, on their live stream.

Sony may have jumped on the 5G train, but if you have used some of their old devices, you might not want to rush to the store. XDA's Max Weinbach has shared some series of leaked images and specs for Sony's headline phones in 2020, which are the Xperia 1 II and Xperia 10 II. The 1 II would obviously be a tweaked version of Sony's 6.5-inch 4K flagship with 5G for low- and mid-band networks, 4K OLED display, Dolby Atmos, a faster Snapdragon 865 processor and, an unexpected motion blur feature that supposedly gives out "90Hz equivalent" on the visual side.

It now has three cameras

Sony has spent a lot of time discussing and talking about the Mark II's cameras, and features-some have been based on their from its mirrorless cameras. These features include the Zeiss-branded lenses and T* coating to dimish reflections from the glass that it has. The new phone itself also has three 12-megapixel cameras, one 16mm f/2.2, a 70mm f/2.4, and a 24mm f/1.7 plus a 3D time of flight sensor. An intelligent eye-tracking and animal eye tracking have been made as a big deal by the company, as well as its 20fps autofocus tracking burst.

4K HDR OLED Screen has been added

When it comes to the display, the 21:9 CinemaWide 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED screen can offer unprecedented color accuracy and a creator mode, which is apparently powered by CineAlta, Sony's pro-camera division.

Dolby Atmos

This new Mark II has been enhanced by Sony's audio engineers to make the overall audio sound better on headphones with its 360-spatial audio, and a specific focus on Tidal. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included.

The device also offers the ever-brilliant Dolby Atmos sound as well as a pair of front stereo speakers to the device so it could ensure you can watch movies whenever you want and on the go. Sony has not announced what kind of refresh rate the display is getting, but they did mention that its motion blur technology is actually "equivalent to that of a 90Hz display."
