Instead of pushing through and playing an English sailor who somehow turned samurai like the first installment of Nioh, you will be able to customize your character as a half-human half-yokai, which makes it more personal.
The advantages of creating your own character are able to hand-pick the type of style you want to use throughout the game. Would the personalization of a player's character strip the game from its pride and glory of having a specific story for a specific character? This is a very different turn from the character players used to playing in the original Nioh.

With a bit of a slasher-type game in its core, Nioh does this more gracefully while the graphics and controls really follow through and deliver a stellar video game for players to appreciate. The advanced graphics and interesting camera angles make every single move seem quite powerful but also not too exaggerated for an accurate depiction of actual damage.
