United States President Donald Trump has recently announced on his official Twitter account that he will be making a 'news conference' in the White House today, Mar. 13, at 3 PM. The main topic of his press conference would focus on the widespread and alarming increasing rate of Coronavirus COVID-19 patients in the country. Shockingly, reports said that the President would even likely announce a 'national emergency' around this time of his speech. What will happen if this occurs soon?

If you have been following the reports about U.S. President Trump and his plans to counter the increasing rate of Coronavirus in the country, you would know that the declaration of 'national emergency' is now the only thing that people have wished him to do so.

Today reports exclusively from NBC News, and Bloomberg said that the U.S. President would likely announce Coronavirus National Emergency on his speech in the afternoon. On his Twitter account, Trump did not specify anything that he will be saying to his speech in the afternoon-- aside from the topic: Coronavirus.

After this, Bloomberg and NBC News reported that their trusted sources told them that the President would also declare national emergency against the viral disease on his speech later. The national emergency declaration was said to be an action to open more emergency funds from the government in order to speed up the virus response of the country.

This will also allegedly unlock the fund worth more than $42 billion designated for the Disaster Relief Fund of the United States.

Bloomberg also noted that this fund would provide 75% federal cost-share to all expenses in emergency workers, medical kits, medical tests, and other important health facilities needed by the citizens amid Coronavirus spread.

The news agency also mentioned that President Trump might already be pressured by all the people rushing him to declare the emergency since tons of major events like NBA plays, Broadway shows, and other events in the country are now being postponed or closed due to the virus.
