This is a bad blow for people right now who are advised to stay at home due to the coronavirus pandemic and look to Nintendo's online features to interact with friends and family for some downtime.

First spotted by users on Twitter when Nintendo confirmed via a Twitter post that "Currently, network services are not available. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but please wait for a while until recovery."

The problem started around 17:56 today and is still currently ongoing. There has been no statement from Nintendo that they are working on it as of now and as per their website it says "No maintenance is currently being performed"

Nintendo is not the first to have problems with their online networks since the outbreak of the coronavirus. PS4 Networks were down just a few days ago as well the Xbox Live servers as well.

The trend is awfully inconvenient for the companies and especially the gamers who use their services to cope up with their isolation, and it would be good to fix things like this quickly due to the demand of the population to work from home.
