Do you want to spy on an Android phone without having the phone in hand? Well, don't let anybody tell you that it isn't possible or isn't needed. I understand how important it can be to spy on a phone, especially when the phone belongs to someone close to you.
People tend to hide a lot of things, including the things that they shouldn't. If you feel your partner or your child is hiding something from you, it can turn out to be bad for them and bad for your relationship with them. There, you must find out what they are up to.
However, it can be hard to find a working spy app on the internet, given the fraud and scams there are going on out there. You need to carefully choose a spy app that not only does the job but is also secure as well.
Therefore, I have spent hours reviewing all the best spy apps out there. After all this research, here is a list of the top ten spy apps I have found fit for you to use. Keep reading to find out more about them:
Best Spy Apps for Android Phones
Here are the best spy apps you can use for monitoring Android phones, arranged in the order of preference.
Part 1: Minspy
When we are talking about Android spying apps, Minspy is the best of the best out there. It can get you the data of any Android (or even iOS phones) device remotely, even if the phone is in a whole different corner of the world.
Further, you get a lot of features that make sure that the Android's phone user has no data to hide. You have eyes on every bit of their data, including the things that they have deleted.
Talking about security, Minspy has the best security measures in place to make sure that your data is totally safe.
Why Minspy Ranks as the #1 Android Spy
There are a lot of things that place Minspy on the top position on this list. Some of these include:
You don't have to download any app on your own system in order to use Minspy. Minspy can operate from a web dashboard that opens in any web browser. In fact, this includes the web browser of your phone as well as computer.
No Root Needed
If you are a tech geek, you might be aware of what rooting is and why people shy away from it. Rooting compromises the safety of a device big time. Therefore, Minspy can work without having to root the target device, unlike most Android spying apps.
Lately, you hear all the news about big companies being hacked and your data being stolen. This is why Minspy employs top notch security measures in its working. Further, none of your private data is stored on Minspy's servers, which is an added bonus in terms of security.
With Minspy, you get so many features that are absent in most Android spying solutions. There is hardly anything unimaginable when you are using Minspy. I will give you an overview of some of my favorite features of Minspy in the next section.
As you can see, Minspy is a genuine and reliable Android spying app, no matter which way you look at it. Therefore, you should give it a try yourself. Rest assured, there is not a chance that you wouldn't fall in love with it.
What You Get With Minspy
If you get a Minspy subscription, you get more than 35 features, all present in a single app. You can use each of these features from the web dashboard. Here are some of my favorite features of Minspy:
Keylogger is one of the major attractions of an Android spying application. However, there are not many apps that offer the keylogger feature. Among the apps that do offer it, you will have to root the target phone to make it work. Yet, Minspy offers you keylogger without root.
With Minspy, you can read someone's private messages of any social media platform you choose. There is nothing that they will be able to hide from you.
The call monitor feature allows you to view the logs of all the incoming and outgoing calls of the device. You even have the option of recording phone calls.
Location tracker will give you an update on the live location of the device at all times. You can also check their recent locations along with the time stamps.
There are, of course, a lot of other features that you are going to enjoy. You should try out Minspy's free demo to get a clearer idea of how they work.
Minspy's Stealth Mode
When you are using an Android spy app, one of the major concerns is that you shouldn't get caught using it. After all, it is not much of spying if the other person knows that you have your eyes on their activities.
However, in the case of Android phones, you cannot really spy on an Android phone without touching it at least once. You need to install the spy app on the Android phone itself in order to spy on it.
This is where Minspy turns out to be a gold mine. Minspy has created its Android app in such a way that even though you will need to install it on the target phone, the app itself will be 100% hidden and the phone's user will never find out about it.
To start with, the app size is less than 2 MB and it just takes a few seconds to install it. Once the app is installed, the app icon will vanish from the app menu. Only you can bring the app icon back with a secret code that only you will know.
The app runs in the background of the phone without giving any notifications, completely invisible. It is designed not to drain any battery as well.
And if for any reason you feel like uninstalling the app, you can do it with a single click from the Minspy dashboard (in any web browser). Therefore, after the first time phone access, you will never need to access that Android phone ever again.
I know you probably have your mind set on using Minspy. I still have to go through the rest of the list as well to fulfil my promise. Don't worry, you can start using Minspy already if you choose.
Part 2: Spyic
If you think that Minspy cannot do the job for you, probably not many apps can. However, Spyic is an Android spying app that definitely comes close in giving Minspy a run for its money.
Spyic is one of the best Android spying apps out there. Just like Minspy, Spyic also works without having to root the target device. In fact, there are a lot of other good things in Spyic that can make the time spent on it just worth it.
You won't need to have any technical knowledge in order to use Spyic. You just need to know how to use a web browser, which you already do since you are reading this article.
Here are some of the things about Spyic that give it the runner up spot on the list:
What Makes Spyic So Special
Other than the features that come with Spyic, you are going to have fun using Spyic. Here are some of its unique offerings:
Spyic's interface is the easiest to use among any Android spying apps. All the features are right in front of your eyes, accessible with a single click. Therefore, you won't have to waste hours trying to find something.
Spyic has one of the cheapest prices among any Android spying apps (yes, there is no such thing as a free working Android spying app). You can get a monthly subscription for just a few bucks.
If you use Spyic, there is a team working round the clock in order to please you. If you face any issue with using Spyic (which you probably won't, since it is so easy), their customer support team is eager to assist.
There are a lot of other reasons to use Spyic. However, if I start listing all of them, it might not give the other items on this list a fair chance.
Therefore, if Spyic sounds something you would be interested in, you should check it out. Meanwhile, I will continue my list towards other entries:
Part 3: Cocospy
Cocospy is the most widely used Android spying apps out there. In fact, there are millions of regular users of Cocospy in over 190 countries. That is not just out of coincidence. Cocospy's offerings are so cool that it just makes it hard to say no to using it.
With Cocospy, you can spy on an Android phone's data from any corner of the world. You just need a one time access to it, just like any other Android spying solution. There are a lot of reasons to use Cocospy, its security protocols being some of them.
Therefore, if you are looking for an Android spying solution, Cocospy is going to be the one for you. You can use Cocospy to spy on a cell phone without installing software on the target phone.
Part 4: Spyier
Spyier is an Android spying solution tailored for parents. Since we all know how dangerous the internet world can be, it is important to keep one's children safe on it. Obviously, keeping them away from the internet isn't really an option.
Therefore, Spyier makes sure that you have eyes on your children whenever they are doing any activity on the internet. Whether they are surfing the internet or chatting with someone on their Facebook account, you will know what they are doing.
Further, since most parents aren't really tech savvy, Spyier is designed to be totally simple and easy to use. Therefore, if you are a parent who is worried for your child's safety, try Spyier and you will have no problems anymore.
You can check our Spyier review post here.
Part 5: Spyhuman
Spyhuman is another Android spying app tailored to be used by parents. While it lacks many features that come standard with Spyier, the interface is beautiful and you wouldn't really face any problem using it.
Like other top picks in this list, you won't need to root the target phone in order to use Spyhuman. However, it can be a little hard to use for parents who don't really have an in depth knowledge about technology or spying apps.
Further, Spyhuman lacks a bit on the upgrades. Therefore, you can expect to get spying support for the latest versions and the latest features a bit late.
Part 6: Mobile spy
When an app has a generic name like Mobile spy, you expect it to be the best at its job already. While Mobile spy isn't really the best of the best, it does a fairly good job that gives it a spot in the lower half of this list.
While the features of Mobile spy are more or less the same as the other apps on the list, the interface that allows you to use all these features is not really that good.
Mobile spy used to be one of the best in the business. However, long pending updates have pushed the quality of this a tad bit lower than it used to be. Yet, it works and does the job that it claims to do.
Part 7: Hellospy
Hellospy is not just an Android spy app with a friendly name. Hellospy allows you a lot of features to get the data of any Android phone. In fact, Hellospy offers as many features as the top picks in the list.
Well, then why is Hellospy at a lower place on the list? For one thing, Hellospy makes it mandatory for you to root the target Android device to make it work. I mean, come on, who roots a phone in this day and age?
Further, the price of Hellospy is one of the most expensive ones you are going to see. Therefore, you should use Hellospy if you have some extra money in your pocket to take new risks.
Part 8: Guestspy
Guestspy is a good way to spy on someone's messages remotely if they operate an Android phone. Other than spying on someone's messages, Guestpsy doesn't have much in the store for you. Therefore, if you are only looking for message spying, you should check it out.
The thing I do not like about Guestspy is that you won't get to see a web demo of how it works. Therefore, if you get a subscription and don't like the lack of features you get, consider your money wasted. There is no way you are getting a refund for it.
Part 9: Spyera
Spyera is a big name in the Android spying app world (or at least it used to be one). It offers you a lot of features when it comes to getting the data of an Android phone.
However, all these features come at a price. And when I am talking about a price, I actually mean a big price tag literally. The monthly subscription of Spyera is very costly, especially considering you can get more features at a better price with the other top picks on this list.
That is not the end of it. Even at this high price, Spyera requires you to root the target Android phone. If you do not root it, you cannot use Spyera at all. This seems a bit old world, considering what other Android spy apps are offering without root right now.
Part 10: Spybubble
Spybubble is also often called Prospybubble, and it is a decent Android spying solution that you should try out.
The great thing about Spybubble is that it works. The not so great things are that the pricing of this Android spy app is too high. Further, even at this high price, it doesn't offer features even comparable to what our top picks are offering right now.
Therefore, for Spybubble, I can only say that it has a long way to go. Perhaps they will heed this advice and make some improvements to their interface at some point in the future.
So here was the list of the best Android spying apps out there. Now my job is done, and your job to try these apps yourself is left. I hope that you make a wise decision doing that job. After all, there must be some sincere reason for you to need an Android spy app in the first place.
