The growing demand for internet-based services has increased, and T-Mobile has just announced that they will be offering two-month free access to YouTube Premium as part of their "T-Mobile Tuesdays" rewards program. This is done to urge people to stay indoors and practice social distancing to minimize the risk of coronavirus infection.

T-Mobile has stepped up and offered great rewards for its users

Aside from offering a free two-month pass for its users, T-Mobile has also included free Netflix that is already available for users to use. For those who are unaware of what YouTube Premium is, it is a platform that allows users to play music in the background, download videos, and even get awesome original content like Cobra Kai! You'll be able to save music and play them even when you are offline.

YouTube Premium is only one of many services being offered during this time of social distancing. Another important contribution is Planet Fitness' "Home Work-Ins"-- it gives access to free training videos on its Facebook Page.

The Metropolitan Opera is among the others offering their services by providing free streamed performances of most of its current running pays to help "brighten the lives of our audience members even while our stage is dark."

GOG is another service provider that has decided to provide free games to encourage people to stay at home and play. Audible is another service that is now offering several of their audiobooks for free to children who are currently out of school.

T-Mobile, along with Shaw Academy, an online classroom platform, has decided to work together to provide free four week courses for users if they can redeem it before Apr. 13.

T-Mobile has launched a low-cost mobile plan

The phone service has also recently launched a low-cost mobile plan known as the T-Mobile Connect-- is said to offer unlimited talk and texts along with 2GB of data for a monthly payment of only $15.

This plan was originally set to launch next month, but because of the company's merger was Sprint, it seemed appropriate to launch this plan right now while people are struggling with their finances due to the ongoing coronavirus.

According to the CEO of T-Mobile, John Legere, this plan is aimed at the people who were affected the most. John Legere also adds that "Right now, having a reliable, low-cost connection is absolutely crucial for Americans, and with many facing financial strain, time is of the essence. We knew we couldn't wait for the merger to finalize to launch T-Mobile Connect, our lowest priced smartphone plan, so we're rolling out ahead of schedule."
