After Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions, it's now Sinnoh's turn for the Pokemon GO Throwback Challenge 2020, and like with the past regions, players have to finish different sets of tasks to get rewarded with Pokemon encounters and Berries.

Pokemon GO Sinnoh Throwback Challenge 2020

As with past Throwback Challenges, completing all of the missions will reward players with an encounter with a special Pokemon native to the region--and this time, fans can have the chance to capture Cresselia with the move Grass Knot.

In addition, there are also Time Research tasks that Pokemon GO players can finish for additional Pokemon encounters, as per GameRant.

Since this week's featured region is Sinnoh, Pokemon from the area will spawn more, plus they will be hatched from 7km eggs that you get during the event, which will last all week.

You'll also get one hour Incense, Lucky Egg, and a Star Piece.

This week, a shiny version of the Glameow will also make its debut as well as the Pikachu with a Lucario Hat.

Without further ado, here are the Pokemon GO Sinnoh Throwback Challenge 2020 tasks that you can complete for a chance of getting Cresselia as well as the rewards you can get.

Step 1

• Catch three fire-, grass-, or water-type Pokemon (10 Poke Balls)
• Power up a Pokemon (Burmy encounter)
• Take a snapshot of one rock-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards for these tasks: 2 Razz Berries, 1 Pinap Berry, Cranidos encounter

Step 2

• Take a snapshot of one grass-type Pokemon (5 Razz Berries)
• Send a Gift to one friend (Combee encounter)
• Catch one grass-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 1 Razz Berry, 2 Pinap Berries, Grotle encounter

Step 3

• Make three Nice Throws (Magnetic Lure Module)
• Hatch one egg (Bronzor encounter)
• Catch one fighting-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 2 Razz Berries, 1 Pinap Berry, Monferno encounter

Step 4

• Earn a candy while walking with your Buddy (10 Great Balls)
• Catch one ground-type Pokemon (Skorupi encounter)
• Catch one water-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 2 Razz Berry, 2 Pinap Berries, Prinplup encounter

Step 5

• Battle another trainer (Charged TM)
• Use three Berries to help catch a Pokemon (1 Sinnoh Stone)
• Catch one ghost-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 2 Razz Berries, 1 Pinap Berry, Drifloon encounter

Step 6

• Take a snapshot of one steel-type Pokemon (10 Ultra Balls)
• Give your Buddy three treats (Hippopotas encounter)
• Catch one steel-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 1 Razz Berry, 2 Pinap Berries, Shieldon encounter

Step 7

• Earn a candy while walking your Buddy (Glacial Lure Module)
• Evolve one Pokemon (Gible encounter)
• Catch one ice-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 2 Razz Berries, 1 Pinap Berry, Abomasnow encounter

Step 8

• Power up a Pokemon 3 times (1 Star Piece)
• Make three Great Throws (1 Fast TM)
• Catch one electric-type Pokemon (500 Stardust)

Rewards: 1 Razz Berry, 2 Pinap Berries, Shinx encounter

Step 9

• 3,000 XP
• 3,000 XP
• 3,000 XP

Rewards: 10 Rare Candies, Cresselia encounter

If Pokemon GO players complete all the tasks for each week's Throwback Challenge, they can get a chance to acquire Genesect.
