Verizon is generous enough to offer Samsung Galaxy A51 for free when you buy via their platform, GSM Arena reported.

You heard that right. The Galaxy A51 is one of the most lucrative mid-rangers in the collection. Now, the United States' telecommunications company is making it more popular by offering it free for consumers.

Too good to be true?

Here are the terms and conditions. The carrier decided to offer Samsung Galaxy A51 for free, provided that you obtain the phone on its installment plan, monthly. The full retail price stays at $399.99. This is what you have to prepare should you want to pay for the mobile device outright.

With the installment, Verizon Wireless will implement bill credits to the handset owner each month. However, they make each payment $0. Prior to this offer, they have been paying $16.66 monthly for two years to acquire this particular device. Now, they can have it for free.

They are part of other devices in the inventory that Verizon and other plan providers offer for free, as long as you will keep subscribing to their plan.

About the device

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is one of the biggest mid-range items from the company for this year. According to reports, this is the first time ever that the company's A-series is made available in the United States. It is also a cheaper option for individuals who want to own a smartphone but cannot pay $1,000 to have one.

Sold mostly at regular prices at $399, Galaxy A51 truly holds a lot of competition. Android Authority said in their review, "There's the new iPhone SE with Apple's newest flagship processor, last year's Pixel 3a, which is hovering around $350 but has been recently discounted even further, and a plethora of phones from Redmi, Realme, Motorola, Nokia, and more that bring a ton of value to the table."

This device has an impressive display. Many of their type, mid-range phones, utilize LCD's instead of OLEDs. However, Samsung is able to stay ahead of the game with the large OLED screen with a very dense pixel count for Galaxy A51.

While the performance of the device is average, it has a large 4,000mAh battery. With its low-powered CPU and tinier RAM, the battery life is one of the best in the industry.

More Samsung news

Speaking of Samsung, did you know that recently, the company's executives are facing a huge challenge? South Korea is seeking arrest against Samsung Group heir Jay Y. Lee from the investigation of a controversial 2015 merger and alleged fraud.

Once Lee is arrested, he will be returning to jail just after two years since being released from detention back in 2018, The Japan Times reported. Right now, the Samsung heir is facing trial on bribery charges aimed at succeeding the patriarch, but with the involvement of former President Park Geun-hye.

According to prosecutors, they are also seeking the arrest due to manipulation of stock prices, violations in audit rules, and more cases. As of press time, Samsung has declined to comment on this matter.
