The white next-gen Xbox controller was revealed online after a mysterious photo was leaked on Reddit. According to The Verge's latest report, an image of the white Xbox Series X controller suddenly appeared online over the weekend.

However, the post of Reddit user identified as "Wolfy_Wizzardo," was deleted soon after. The user claimed that the photo was taken at a party in Washington state, which was hosted by the child of a Microsoft employee. The account was also deleted, however, it had been commenting and posting topics in Seattle, Washington months before its deletion. Many Reddit users shared their speculations about the leaked photos. Here are some of them.
"This'll be the Series S pad for sure, Windows Central reported it was in take home testing months ago," explained another commentator.
"Yes but at release they'll probably just have black on the series X and white on the series S like they did with the X and the S this generation," replied another one.
The Verge coordinated with the Reddit user before his/her account was deleted. Wolfy_Wizzardo claimed that the new Xbox controller was white and has a bigger Xbox button, with a more squarish design.

The leaked image revealed that the white Xbox controller includes the Xbox Series X controller's new D-pad, together with the new share button that Microsoft will be releasing on next-generation controllers. The report said that the Reddit user claimed to have used the console to play games, saying that the interface still looked like Xbox One UI.

The same Xbox dashboard will still be used by Microsoft and will it on Xbox one, with some slight changes to allow new features such as "Quick Resume." Other people speculated that the leaked white.
Xbox is a sign that there will be a second next-gen Xbox. It was also rumored that Microsoft will release a second, cheaper next-gen Xbox called "Lockhart" in Aug. However, it was not yet confirmed if the new white Xbox really does exist and if the leaked photo really belonged to a Microsoft employee.
