By the end of the year, Apple plans to launch its newest model of Macbook. There's no name yet for this device. But here are the latest things we found out about this new Apple device.

Apple's 12-inch Macbook launches this year!

Apple has designed a new 12-inch Macbook that is set to become your new favorite Macbook model of the year. Apple has announced on its WWDC developer conference in June that the next Macbook models would be powered by Apple's self-designed ARM-based Apple Silicon processors.

Mac Rumors reported on Monday, Aug. 31, that the company intends to release the said device this year. So, if you're going to buy the new Macbook, will it be a good buy or a flop buy?

Here are the rumored specs you should know.

First, the new Apple Macbook-- as already said-- has a 12-inch display. It also has a 12-inch Retina display and will only have one port.

This was surprising news since last year, as the company had already decided to let go of the 12-inch display for Macbooks.

Apart from reviving the 12-inch display, the new Macbook will also be powered by Apple's self-designed ARM-based Apple Silicon processors. It will also use an A14X processor, which is codenamed "Tonga" and manufactured by TSMC, according to a leaked report from The China Times.

"According to Apple's supply chain, Apple is expected to launch a Macbook with a 12-inch Retina Display at the end of this year, using its self-developed and designed A14X processor, with the development code of Tonga, supporting a USB Type-C interface and weighing less than 1 kilogram, because of the low-power advantage of the Arm-based processor. The Macbook battery lasts 15 to 20 hours. The A14X processor will also be used in the new generation iPad Pro tablet," said The China Times.

Bloomberg already reported that Apple had been developing at least three Mac processors based on the 5-nanometer A14 chip that will be used in the upcoming iPhone 12 models.

The new device reportedly supports a USB Type-C interface that only weighs less than 1 kilogram, which was recognized as one of the super lightweight laptops.

And as said, the device can last from 15 up to 20 hours depending on your usage, which seemed to be a great deal from the brand.

Cheapest Macbook you can get!

Apart from the new specs that Apple is heading on its new Macbook, the 12-inch Macbook price is also a win-win for all of us.

Early August, reports said that the new Macbook will be priced at a starting price of $799. If you know your Macbook models, this means that the 2020 Macbook is hitting $200 less than the current price of an entry-level Macbook Air.

And that means a lot amid pandemic.
