Smartphones have quickly become an integral part of our day-to-day lives, with that trend only set to continue.

So what will smartphones look in the future? Here are five videos that show the capabilities of smartphones in the future and offer a glimpse at future flagships that we know and love today.

1. Apple iPhone 7

The launch of the Apple iPhone 6 fast became the most popular iPhone launch ever, so it is pretty safe to assume the launch of the iPhone 7 will be even bigger. But what will the new device look like? According to this concept video, it could have a display that extends to the edge of the device. Oh, and the display can be seen from behind the device.

2. Samsung Galaxy S6

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is set to be released later this year. While there are rumors surrounding what the device might look like and offer in terms of features, actual new functionality remains a guessing game. This video seems to indicate the Galaxy S6 will include a 2K display, a 16-megapixel camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

3. HTC One M9

Another flagship to be released this year is the HTC One M9. This video shows a design that reflects the design of the One M7 and M8. This concept keeps the front-facing stereo speakers found on the One M8. According to this concept design, the One M9 will include a 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera, a 12-megapixel duo rear-facing camera and a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor.

4. Microsoft Lumia

We've looked at future iOS and Android phones, but Android and iOS aren't the only mobile operating systems around. This concept design shows a blocky-looking device with one stand-out feature -- a camera that can rotate, serving as both a front-facing and rear-facing camera.

5. BlackBerry L

OK, sure, this one's a little ridiculous, but interesting nonetheless. The BlackBerry L concept design shows a device that vaguely resembles a BlackBerry with a sliding keyboard. Also, it's square, going completely against smartphones of today, which are almost always rectangular. While the idea is interesting, the sliding keyboard has long been dismissed as a good idea.
