Using iCloud to back-up photos is really useful for reducing the used storage space of your device. However, there are times when you should also save your pictures and videos onto your mobile device, laptop, or personal computer.

Doing this could be a little confusing since many different methods are based on things, such as where the user is accessing the data from or what device they will use. To help you finish the process. Here's a simple guide on downloading the photos from iCloud via the Apple Photos app or iCloud.com.

Installing photos from iCloud via iCloud.com

1) On your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, navigate to the Apple Photos app.

2) Choose the "Select" option located on your Photos app's upper right corner to choose the desired video or photo. You can tap the "Select all" option or select multiple videos and photos by tapping numerous thumbnails.

3) To access additional options, you need to select the "three-dot" icon in the app's lower right corner.

4) To save the photos, select the "Download" option.

5) You can also do on your PC or Mac by going to iCloud.com and logging in using your Apple ID.

6) Once you've logged in, tap on the "Photos" option.

7) Choose your desired video and photo; you can also select more than one by holding the "Command" button.

8) Once you're satisfied with your selections, click and hold on the "Download" option, which looks like the cloud symbol combined with a down arrow. It is located on the top toolbar's right side.

9) You'll have two options; download the "Most Compatible" or "Unmodified Original" versions.

10) Once you're good with your choice, click download, which will appear at the bottom of your screen. You can move, open, and rename the downloaded file.
